Get involved with your child’s school!
Consider volunteering your time to chair one of the programs listed below.
One of the most rewarding things in life is the giving of your time and talents to others. And what better opportunity to do that than at your child’s school! Volunteers help make all the exciting things happen throughout the year. Whether you are a room parent, helping your teacher make copies, or volunteering on a a class field trip, each opportunity is a chance to help it all come together and make an impression on your child’s elementary school experience.
Red Ribbon Week
This timeless program teaches the students about the importance of health & safety and being drug free. Volunteers are needed to help decorate the school (usually on a Sunday afternoon). During student lunchtime, activities are scheduled for each day of the week and volunteers are needed to help facilitate. Each day during this week, a few volunteers are needed to commit 1 1/2 hours. This includes counting prizes and facilitating the activities.
Family nights are a fun way to get students and parents to join together outside school! Past events include Halloween Skate Party and Brea Improv Night. We are looking for someone to help coordinate and facilitate these fun nights.
